Palm OS
To customize e*valPal, tap the GigglePop.com hand button. This will pull down a list of different preferences for the included applications.

e*valPal Preferences
Tabs
- Re-arrange the order of your tabs by highlighting the number on the left side of the "Tabs" box and tapping the "Up" or "Down" button on the right side of the screen.
- Choose "Year" to first select "Year, Make, Model, Bdystyle/Trim" when valuing a vehicle or choose "Make" to first select "Make, Year, Model, Bdystyle/Trim" (easier to use at factory sales).

Saved Vehicles
- Select "Run #" or "Stock #" to be displayed in your "Saved List".
- Select "Book Date" to be displayed in your "Saved List".
- Select "2-Digit Year" to view a 2-digit year versus a 4-digit year in your "Saved List".

Black Book Preferences
- Disable the display of specific values or the UVC. For example, to hide Retail values while using Black Book, un-check the "Show Retail Value" option.
- Enter specific mileages for all vehicles, instead of using Mileage Brackets when available, un-check the "Use Mileage Brackets" option.
- Select the appropriate State; this will affect the values displayed.
- Select a Condition default by using the down arrow to select between "Extra Clean, Clean, Average, and Rough" or check the "Show All Conditions" box to view all conditions on the value screen. This default can be edited on the Value screen after valuing a vehicle.

Kelley Blue Book Preferences
- Disable the display of specific values. For example, to hide wholesale values while using Kelley Blue Book, un-check the "Show Wholesale Value" option.
- Select the appropriate State; this will affect the values displayed.
- Select a Condition default by using the down arrow to select between "Excellent, Good, and Fair" or check the "All Conditions" box to view all conditions on the value screen. This default can be edited on the Value screen after valuing a vehicle.

NADA Preferences
- Disable the display of specific values or the Model ID. For example, to hide Retail values while using NADA, un-check the "Show Retail Value" option.
- Enter specific mileages for all vehicles, instead of using Mileage Brackets when available, un-check the "Use Mileage Brackets" option.
- Select the appropriate Region or State; this will affect the values displayed. Select a Condition default by using the down arrow to select between "Clean, Average, and Rough" or check the "All Conditions" box to view all conditions on the value screen. This default can be edited on the Value screen after valuing a vehicle.

Market Report Preferences
- Enter Mileage First - check this box (suggested) if you would like your selection for the Mileage Range to first pre-filter vehicle matches to be within a plus-or-minus range of the actual vehicle mileage entered.
- Minimum Result Set - set this to the fewest number of pre-filtered vehicles you wish to view before viewing all matches found. If the number of vehicles matched is less than this number, then all matching vehicles within a national search will be displayed regardless of your pre-filter selections.
- Date Range - select the number of previous weeks of historical auction market data you wish to first view.
- Location - select the location or region you would like to view data within.
- Sales Type - select the sales types of those transactions you wish to include in your search (you may wish to uncheck Salvage unless salvage vehicles are desired).

At any time in the Market Report application, tap the "i" in the upper right corner of a screen. The "i" will allow you to view additional information tips for that page.

You can also modify your search results at any time by using the "Filter" button. Any changes you make using the Filter feature will not affect your pre-filter preferences mentioned above. This feature is designed to let you quickly edit your search on the fly.

Vehicle History Preferences
AutoCheck
- Enter your AutoCheck User ID and your Password; check the "Remember my password" box to access your VHR's quickly.
- Timeout indicates how long the application will search for a network. Change the Timeout default by tapping the existing number and changing it.
- Select "Full", "BTR", or "Summary" as your default report. Select "Full" to see a full Vehicle History Report. Select "BTR" to view a Brand and Title Report or select "Summary" to indicate whether or not there is a vehicle discrepancy.

CARFAX
- Enter your CARFAX User ID and your Password; check the "Remember my password" box to access your VHR's or BTC's quickly.
- Timeout indicates how long the application will search for a network. Change the Timeout default by tapping the existing number and changing it.

Windows Mobile
To customize evalPal, tap the Menu button in the bottom left hand corner. This will pull up a list. Select Preferences then choose which preferences you would like to set.
